Great American Songbook

Concert featuring Tom Tiratto ~ November 13, 2016

The music of The Great American Songbook is timeless and represents the best and most treasured American songs from the 20th Century. These songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen and others, have been immortalized in Broadway musicals and Hollywood movies. They reflect the ideals of America.

Special guest for this fabulous celebration of music is Tom Tiratto. Tom toured with The Rat Pack is Back, appearing in Las Vegas, San Francisco and Chicago. Other credits include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Tom will sing hits made famous by Frank Sinatra, the #1 interpreter of the Great American Songbook.

Also featured is the Richey Community Chorus, our own talented group of select singers. They will be featured in medleys by Gershwin and Jerome Kern. The Orchestra will be featured in music by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and Duke Ellington

Show time is 3:00 p.m.
