The Sixties: Bacharach to Beatles

Concert featuring the RICHEY COMMUNITY CHORUS   |  April 7, 2019

Music of the 60’s was an exciting variety of genres and styles: beautiful, lyrical songs, thoughtful folk music, hip gyrating dance tunes, jazz, blues, and rock music. Truly something for everyone!

The British Invasion was in full swing and the Beatles rocketed to the top of the charts. Artists such as the Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, the Mammas and the Pappas, Burt Bacharach, Neil Diamond and so many more, wrote songs that spoke to our hearts.

The Richey Community Chorus joins the Orchestra to bring your favorite 60’s hits. They will be featured in Bridge Over Troubled Water, What the World Needs Now, Can’t Buy Me Love, California Dreamin’, and more. The Orchestra will play songs by the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Burt Bacharach and much more.

Don’t miss this fun show jam-packed with great songs and talented performers!

Show time is 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for open seating at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge.
