Season Ticket Update

RCO Shows for April + May 2020 have been canceled due to COVID-19. We have a special message for current season ticket holders and patrons from our Executive Director, Denise Isaacson.

Dear Friends of the Richey Orchestra and Chorus,

With the world in an unprecedented health crisis, never before have we been challenged to stay so physically isolated. We find strength and comfort with our friends and families. Sharing beautiful music together is a true pleasure and an uplifting and inspiring event. It is with a very heavy heart that we must cancel the last two shows of this season in hopes that it will help prevent the spread of this terrible Covid-19 virus.

Not being able to perform these great concerts for you in the next two months is heartbreaking for all of us in the Richey Community Orchestra and Chorus. We deeply miss rehearsing together and being able to share this beautiful music with you.

For those of you who have purchased tickets for our April 19th “Roaring 20’s” show, please keep your tickets! We will open our 2020-2021 season with this same show in November! All your April tickets will be honored in November. Martin Preston will be with us to perform Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and the Richey Chorus will be joining in the fun with some great music by Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern and many others. Tentative date is November 15th.

If you have purchased tickets for our May 10th Mother’s Day Dinner Show, “Ballads, Blues and Broadway”, you may return your tickets to:

RCO Box Office
6827 Amberjack Lane
Hudson, FL 34667

You will receive a gift certificate for the full value of your tickets. This gift certificate will be good for any ticket purchases in our 2020-2021 concert season.

Please consider making your ticket purchases a gift to the orchestra. You can also make a donation to join the “Friends of the Orchestra”. We are a small non-profit 501(c)3 corporation and rely entirely on ticket sales and donations to cover all our operating expenses. Donations are always tax-deductible.

Please stay in touch via our website and Facebook. We will announce our new 2020-2021 season as soon as we can and our new brochure will be mailed out in mid-September. If you are not on our mailing list, please sign up here.

Maestro Stephen Brown, the orchestra, chorus and I, look forward to sharing music with you again soon! Please know that the entire RCO family sends our best wishes to you and your families and hopes we will all stay safe and healthy.
