Join the RCO as we celebrate the 88th birthday of one of the greatest American composers of all time, John Williams. He has composed some the most popular, recognizable, and critically acclaimed film scores in cinematic history. Over his six decade career John has won many awards including five Academy Awards, 24 Grammys, four Golden Globes, five Emmys and many gold and platinum records. Williams is an accomplished pianist and songwriter, the Laureate Conductor of the Boston Pops and has conducted many of the finest orchestras in the world.

Highlight of the show is the award winning music from Schindler’s List, one of the most recognizable and emotionally entrancing melodies in film history.

Also on the program is music from Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders March, Superman, Jurassic Park and more.

Show time is 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $18 for open seating at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge.
