About the Show
The RCO is thrilled to feature our new conductor in the soloist’s spotlight. Dr. Robert Murray recently retired as Trumpet Professor from Columbus State University. Rob will be featured in a Tribute to Louis Armstrong and Granada. As a member of the Dallas Brass, he made many appearances with orchestras such as the Cincinnati Pops and Florida Philharmonic. Other credits: performances with Ray Charles, Cab Calloway, Liberace, The Moody Blues, Doc Severinsen, Bernadette Peters, Quincy Jones, the Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey Big Bands, and many Broadway productions.
The RCO will play music from Sweet Charity, Rocky, Raiders March, 76 Trombones, and lots more!
Tickets are $20.00 for open seating at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge. Show time is 3:00 p.m.
