About the Show
Having been closed for 18 months, the Great White Way is again in full swing, bringing back the joy and excitement of this international art form.
This concert features music from shows recently playing on Broadway, including:
- The Music Man: by Meredith Willson, premiered on Broadway in 1957 winning 5 Tony awards. The 2022 revival starred Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster.
- Wicked: by Stephen Schwartz, opened in 2003, won 3 Tonys and is still going strong today.
- Chicago: by John Kander, opened in 1975, revived in 1996 and is the longest running revival in Broadway history.
- Phantom of the Opera: by Andrew Lloyd Webber, opened in 1988, and is the longest running show in Broadway history and a big fan favorite!
The Richey Community Chorus joins in this celebration of music, so don’t miss it!
Tickets are $18.00 for open seating at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge. Show time is 3:00 p.m.
